GPU: Saphire 1GB 5850@840/1140. new vegas. you can see how the rocks are angular, stuck on, and as you walk can have flickering triangles. the colours are wrong. doesnt look stylised as well, like FO3 you get a sense of the 1950`s. there is not much haze, around the rocks the geometry is low. Fallout 3.
Fallout NV vs CDPR's Cyber Punk. Open discussion, but mainly focused towards those who enjoy this game. In what way at all is the game better than Fallout New Vegas. I will concede on graphics, and ignore bugs. In my opinion Fallout New Vegas is by far a superior game in every aspect. And I really did try to enjoy Cyber punk, but am seeing this
Fallout 3 is better than New Vegas. Fallout 3 on Xbox 360 runs perfect. New Vegas, crashes,bugs and freezes is frustrating. Fallout 3 has a lot of America, so patriotic. New Vegas , not much America I could be playing in Mexico or in the bland brown and sand color Mojave. Fallout 3 has flaws and New Vegas is better in some ways.
Because Fallout 3 is the first Fallout game most people played and a lot of the Fallout fan base overlaps with Bethesda's fan base, so their post-Morrowind "The entire world revolves around the player character" thing is more important than the story making sense or having depth.
New Vegas, because I prefer the base game to 4. That being said, 4 has a few areas that are better than NV. fo4 with lots of mods is much more stable than NV with lots of mods. if you enjoyed the settlement building (I loved it), mods add a lot to the settlement system. Agreed.
