185 posts · Joined 2012. #1 · Aug 18, 2021 (Edited) Just upgraded my 5.7 Hemi to 6.4, brand new engine. My GC Overland 2012, 9 years old and 220,000 Klms. (Old 5.7 taken as fitting charge.) Simple swap, needed a new air intake tube, and one sensor extended. Used old Altenator and Air con pump.
To get a Hemi you will have to go the Limited edition (or higher) class. Power of hemi is awesome but is defiantly just for fluff unless you are a heavy tower. 4.7 has plenty of power. Remember this is a jeep not a mustang (for example..) Also remember to consider rising gas prices in the future.
